Ok, what's the deal with all the rain lately? I mean I am very thankful that I don't have to experience the hurricanes and earthquakes and landslides that are going on in the world...but seriously stuff can only get so wet! I was pondering this over today and what could be the possible reason for the recent downpours...our old friend EL NINO!!! And for my non-Spanish speaking readers, THE NINO!! (A little SNL there for ya!)
Well to catch ya up on the last few days, I haven't really done a whole lot besides the two mid-terms I had yesterday. Talk about I should have studied more! Ha, oh well it's only mid-terms right? Umm what else...oh I watched the Family Guy movie about Stewie...I wouldn't suggest it to the faint of heart. Let's just say there are a few questionable scenes in it, over all it's freaking hilarious but some very wrong parts.
Halloween is coming up and I want to know your opinions on it. Is it an evil day that we as Christians should not take part in? Or is it just a fun day where kids get free candy? Thoughts? Have a good one,

Props to the Chris Farley SNL quote..it's good.I watched that movie too and I questioned my Christianity after viewing it..not really, but still.
I think that it all depends on how you were brought up with halloween.I know that it is Satan's day,so I don't support that...so does that make me wrong for dressing up?It's a weird subject I think.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays *liability - Christmas of coarse is my favorite - liablity* It means you get to dress up, wear make up and freak out anyone you want, all being perfectly acceptable. Actually, I'm beginning to wonder if that evil stuff is all just a farce and Halloween was really just invented by cross dressers...
In any case, Halloween is all about candy and being stupid. Hats off to Halloween.
I concur with Meeks.
October 31st was a dandy Celtic celebration of Samhain until the Christians came along and tried to replace it with their church-sanctioned ideas. We sure know how to kill a good party.
Let the kids dress up, have fun and stuff their face with candy. Happy Halloween.
First of all, you guys are having rain because of the effects of hurricane Wilma hitting Mexico and Florida. Here in BC the Sun is shining brightly and warmly and ....
Secondly, seriously what do kids know about Halloween except its fun and you get to eat sweet goodies. They don't get all worked up about the spiritual realms so why should it be wrong for them? Adults tend to get all crazy about such things and then spoil all the fun for the innocent ones. Argghh..Sometimes Christians bug the crap outta me with what they focus on...bahhhh!
Fun day, free candy. I'm sure it's possible to ADD evil, but you do that on your own time.
