And So it Begins....

The long journey to get on the road. That's right I am now embarking on the Summer Team Adventure. I arrived at school today excited to see what the summer has in store. Not quite sure how but some of the guys have found an active internet account and access in a dorm that has been dormant for the last month. I'd hate to be the guy who forgot to cancel his internet!!

I am going to keep this short for now but be checking back periodically for updates on my travels and such over the summer. Until then peace out!! (Miss You Kate!!)

Here we go!!

Ok, so I haven’t updated in a while. This one is for Brewer so he won’t have to be disappointed any more when he checks. (You da man Brew!)

So since it has been a few weeks since my last post I should have lots to talk about, so where to start? Well let’s I think that it makes perfect sense to start with something that no one ever thought they would see this year…HOCKEY!!! That’s right the World Championship is taking place right now and Canada is ripping it up. We’re 3-0, with victories over Latvia (6-4), Slovenia (8-0) and the USA (3-1). We play tomorrow against Sweden…go all out guys!

Well as we are on the subject of sports might as well talk about baseball too. How about those Blue Jays!?! I have to say I am pretty impressed with them so far in this young season, I mean Jays fans haven’t had too much to be cheering about since the early 90’s and the back-to-back World Series wins. Which brings me to the Yankees, wow are they ever pitiful this year. At this rate they might not even make the playoffs, although I don’t think there will be too many people outside of the Bronx who care.

Alright, now an update on me. What has been keeping me so busy you ask? Well I was at school most of this week during seminar week even though I didn’t actually have one. Why you ask? Well I was recording. Yep, Dave being the awesome guy that he is decided that it would be cool if the musical Summer Teams could take a CD with a few songs that we recorded with us in the road this summer and that is cool! However recording can be both very rewarding and frustrating at the same time, so thanks to Kevin and Anthony from Three Season Ant for all your hard work and patience.

While at school this week I also had a chance to hangout with some friends that I don’t see too often because they were down for graduation. Morgan and Angela I have to say that it was great seeing you guys and you better believe me that I will be out to Alaska sometime in the future. Thanks for all the fun hanging out and keeping both Kate and I a part of your life!!! We love you guys. And speaking of people we love, Lynn and Natasha, getting to know you guys has been awesome and I know that next year holds even more fun times and I can’t wait to get to know you both better.

So that is a quick summery of what’s going on in my life right now. I’m going to be at home the next couple of weeks with my lovely girlfriend Kate just chillin’ till Paul’s wedding. Wow he’s getting married…so weird. Anyway so home is where I will be until the 28th of May when I head back to school for re-group before I take off for the summer. Yep that is pretty much it for now so I am outtie!!
