My New Addiction...

This is perhaps one of the best written TV shows that I have ever seen. It's been on the air now for 2 or 3 seasons and is in danger of being cancelled by FOX. (You know you aren't doing to well in the ratings when FOX cancels you.)

However there is no reason for them to cancel the most intelligent show on TV. I have to admit that it took me an episode or two to get into it but after that, HOLY CRAP! So funny! The entire show is one big interwoven story that has so many twist and turns that I don't know how the writers think up this stuff! You really need to check it out.

I <3 AD. I've watched it since it's inception. The characters are hilarious, the writing is top-notch and intelligent, and the way they rework stuff from older shows into new episodes is hilarious. Everyone I've told about it who's tried watching it has eventually come around to loving it. You just need to give it a little time to hook you.

And for the record, Fox cancels stuff simply because they don't understand a good thing when they have it. If a show isn't hauling in massive ratings for certain demographics, it's done. Heck, they cancel shows for looking at them the wrong way, it seems sometimes. There have been close to 10 very well done shows that Fox has axed over the past 3 years or so, just because they couldn't stick with them even for a full season. Hopefully AD continues to squeeze by.

AD is by far the best TV show that's on the air right now. Seriously, it's the funniest show I've ever seen. The characters, writing, and cast are all brilliant. And like Hooper said, the way they incorporate jokes from previous episodes into new episodes is just brilliant (like how they brought back Franklin in the last episode). My only worry is they'll cancel the show. Last I heard they only had five million viewers per episode. Here's hoping they stick by their agreement when they signed on for the third and fourth seasons.
