Ok, so was the color orange named becasue of the fruit or was the fruit named after the color? And if that is in fact the case why can't I call banannas yellow?
This may not be totally related, but I always thought it was funny how Crayola had a crayon color called "Flesh" that was a peachy type color. Um, not so much politically correct nowadays, probably.

Personally, I think the elephant did it. He just looked so...hidden in the corner. But no one would say anything.
